DEI Takes Center Stage at IBTM World 2024
I’m thrilled to share that I had the opportunity to participate in IBTM World 2024 and contribute to the conversation around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the meetings and events industry.
Key Highlights:
- Keynote Sessions: I delivered a keynote session on «How DEI-Focused Events Can Be a Catalyst for Change.» It was an honor to share insights and inspire attendees to prioritize DEI in their event planning and execution. I also led a workshop on «How to Implement a DEI Approach in Event RFPs,» providing practical tips and strategies for incorporating DEI into the sourcing process.
- Media Coverage: I was featured in IBTM’s Daily News magazine in an interview with Paul Cook, where we discussed the importance of accessibility and DEI in events.
- Industry Conversations: I had insightful conversations with industry leaders, including Gorazd Cad and his colleague from the Ljubljana Talks podcast, to further explore the potential of DEI in the events industry.
